Fireproof BoatsBoats and chest-boats that don't burn in lava
About
Adds a Fireproof Boat and Fireproof Chest Boat that survive lava. Same recipe shape as vanilla boats but crafted with a Netherite Ingot instead of nothing in the centre. They still take damage from impacts; lava just doesn't ignite them.
Things to do
- Cross Nether lava oceans without losing cargo
- Use as floating storage in the End / Nether (chest-boat variant)
Getting started
JEI shows the recipe. Once you have a Netherite Ingot, swap any vanilla boat or chest-boat plank wrap into the recipe.
